INTERSTE Pty Ltd is an Australian private company, registered with ASIC on 30 July 2020 and based in Sydney, New South Wales.
INTERSTE advises electricity project companies in Nigeria on licensing and approvals, and is developing an investment platform for electricity distribution infrastructure in Nigeria.
INTERSTE was founded by Darcy Sun, who has also been an executive director of KAYZ Consortium Limited since 2014.
Our relationship with KAYZ
KAYZ Consortium Limited is a Nigerian company that manufactures, supplies and installs electricity meters.
INTERSTE indirectly holds a 40% equity interest in KAYZ Consortium Limited through an affiliated company.
KAYZ has been in the metering business since 2014 and has supplied meters to electricity distribution companies in Nigeria, including Aba Power Limited Electric (APL), where it has installed more than 418,000 prepayment meters since 2024.
How we work
We work with licensed Nigerian companies and qualified local legal, technical and environmental advisers.
We assess each opportunity on its technical, commercial and regulatory merits, and structure each project around the agreements and approvals it needs.
